The Lodge was petitioned in April 1895 and consecrated just three months later. There were seventeen founders and the Lodge was initially very active. The last candidate to be admitted was registered in 1902 when there were 36 members. The warrant was returned to Mark Grand Lodge in 1912.

In 1984 at the consecration of the Guernsey Lodge of Mark Master Masons, it was suggested by visiting Grand Officers that the degree should be restored in Jersey. W.Bro David Piczenik took up the challenge. An emergency meeting of the Sarnian Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners was held in Guernsey, at which thirteen Jersey brethren were elevated. The Caesarean Lodge was reconsecrated in 1985.
