The Province of the Channel Islands covers all the Channel Islands, but meetings are held only in the Masonic Temple, Stopford Road, St.Helier, Jersey and the Masonic Centre, St.Martins, Guernsey.

The earliest Channel Islands Lodge was formed in Jersey in 1865, just 9 years after the formation of the Mark Grand Lodge in 1856. The Mark degree had been worked in the Craft Lodges in Jersey for many years previously, and after the formation of the United Grand Lodge of the Craft, many local Masons joined the Irish Lodges which were operating in Jersey in order to continue their Mark Masonry.

In Guernsey the earliest Lodge was formed in 1891.

Further development of the Mark degree in the Channel Islands did not occur until the 1970s.
