Welcome to the official web site of the Province of Jersey.
We have tried our best to bring you an interesting and enlightening view of the activities that are taking place in Freemasonry in Jersey and I trust that while navigating your way around our web site it will provide you with the information you were seeking and hopefully much more. Our Province is steeped in history as you will discover while browsing though the various pages and we are rightly proud of the efforts we have made over the centuries.
Our charitable activities are amply demonstrated and explained within our web pages and I intend to continue supporting local charities where specific and meaningful projects can be identified. In the current economic climate charities are not always able to produce the revenues they previously enjoyed, but it is my firm belief that Jersey Freemasons will continue to meet the demands of our community and raise exemplary charitable amounts as we have done for the past many years.
If you are interested in joining Freemasonry then you will find appropriate information and contacts to take your enquiry forward and any questions you may have will be handled swiftly and confidentially. Open days are held each year and a number of presentation evenings take place from time to time, so do make contact if you would like to have more information. There are numerous aspects to Freemasonry which will appeal to most individuals. From my own personal experience, the younger you join Freemasonry the greater possible fulfilment is attainable from this ancient institution.
Whatever your reason for entering our web site I trust it gives you good insight into the operational aspects of our Province and Freemasonry in general.

The Province of Jersey has joined the many other Provinces throughout the United Kingdom in supporting the tlc appeal.
The aims and objectives of the Teddies for Loving Care Appeal or TLC Appeal are simple. To provide teddies or soft
toys to A&E units:- for the medical staff to give, at their discretion, to children who are in severe distress,
where the staff feel that a teddy to cuddle will help alleviate that distress, that will assist them in their
urgent work. The children take the teddies home with them.
The tcl appeal is a national charity , and as a charity, they do not turn down donations from others who see the benefits of the idea, but over 99% of the money needed is being donated by Freemasons. None of the appeal money goes on administration because all time and facilities are donated. The charity spends less than 1% on fund-raising and PR, but every penny of the remainder is used to purchase the teddies or urgently needed paediatric equipment for A&E units.
Since the Appeal was founded more than 900,000 teddies have been distributed Nationwide.
