Library & museum new cabinets

Marquetry on new cabinets

The work to alleviate the water ingress is now complete. The walls have been decorated and new lighting has been installed.

The cabinets have been fitted, all hand crafted by Rene Rabet and his colleagues. They feature striking marquetry of the square and compasses design, all hand cut.

New blue carpeting has been laid and it will not be long before the library and museum contents are returned to the room.

This is expected to occur during the next few weeks.

In the meantime these pictures will show the room decor and cabinets.
