From time to time, the Librarian and Curator of the Jersey Masonic Library and Muesum receives requests to assist with research into ancestors. These enquiries often require considerable research into very old and fragile documents and cannot therefore be resolved quickly.

From Jersey Masonic records, a list has been made of the Masters of the Lodges (etc) from 1812 to 1940, and these are available for research. They are in name order and show the year and the Lodge or other order in which the Mason achieved the chair. A link is also given so that enquiries can be made directly to the secretary.

It is not possible at this stage to provide an index of every Mason in Jersey, as many records are incomplete, have been mislaid or were removed or destroyed by the German occupying forces during the Second World War.
