The David Binnington salver
Annual prize for original papers
At the annual meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge held on the 9th October 1997, The Provincial Grand Master RW.Bro.David Binnington announced that Brethren of the Province would be invited to submit papers of Masonic interest.
One would be chosen and the Brother whose paper was selected, would become Lecturer for the year and present his paper at the March meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge, and at Lodges within the Province.
He also announced that he had presented a silver salver to be presented to the lecturer for the year.
