Meetings: Third Tuesday of the month from September to May
Installation - May
Number of members @ 30th June 2011 - 69
St.Aubin's Lodge was established in St.Aubin in the West of the Island in 1863. Geographical reasons decided the name, and the meeting place because at that time communication between the West of the Island and St.Helier was far from easy.
Members held strongly to the view that it was far from satisfactory to hold their meetings in a commercial hotel, and so sought private rooms in the area. Within two months suitable premises were found, comprising four rooms, the largest of which was used for refreshment and the remainder handed over to the Tyler for his own accommodation. Within another month the rooms were suitably fitted out, and the meeting in July 1863 took place in the "Masonic Rooms", St.Aubin.
The Lodge moved to the Masonic Temple in St.Helier in 1867.
