Yarborough Lodge was consecrated in 1812 as the Farmers Lodge no 352 by the Athol or Antients' Grand Lodge. It was renamed the Yarborough Lodge after a visit to the Island of Jersey by Charles, 2nd Earl of Yarborough, Deputy Grand Master of England in September 1856.
Much of its ritual has its origins in the Athol working, which differs significantly from rituals used by the other Jersey Lodges.
After a brief history of the Lodge read by the Secretary W.Bro Peter Stoneman, the Bicentenary warrant was read by the Grand Secretary and then presented to the Worshipful Master by the Pro Grand Master. An oration was given by W.Bro John Symes. All the brethren of the lodge were presented with their centenary jewels now with a bicentenary bar attached.
Following the meeting, a celebration dinner was held at the Merton Hotel.
