The Prince of Wales Lodge was founded just before the Masonic Temple was completed in 1864. It was named after the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII and Grand Master. The consecration took place at the Freemasons Hall, Grove Place, St.Helier by the Provincial Grand Master, his Deputy and officers of Provincial Grand Lodge.
The Prince of Wales Lodge is proud of the fact that the present Worshipful Master is the brother of last year's Master and that the two of them are sons of the Master in 2006. Richard Mallet was installed by his brother Noel on the 2nd December 2009 and Noel was installed by his father Robin on the 3rd December 2008.
